For some 70 years, Bnei David has opened its door to every Jew looking for a home in the heart of Tel Aviv — Shabbat dinners, songs, and a bed for whoever needs one. Now the home itself needs us: guest rooms, kitchen, bathrooms, facade and beit midrash.

Travelers, students, olim, seekers — English speakers are always around the table. No dress code, no entry exam, no charge. Just knock.

Our Story

Tel Aviv calls it “the freaks' shul” — we wear it proudly

Israeli media dedicated a full documentary episode to Bnei David: the synagogue where Florentin's artists, musicians and seekers meet Torah — without anyone giving up who they are. Our rabbi, Avraham Guy Berechil, is an exhibiting artist himself. Every Friday night, the whole mosaic of Tel Aviv sits around one table.
