Israeli media dedicated a full documentary episode to Bnei David: the synagogue where Florentin's artists, musicians and seekers meet Torah - without anyone giving up who they are. Our rabbi, Avraham Guy Berechil, is an exhibiting artist himself. Every Friday night, the whole mosaic of Tel Aviv sits around one table.
Bnei David is a family. We're not emissaries of any organization - it began with goodwill and a door opened to every Jew, so they'd feel at ease, feel they've come home. And God willed it: the family grew, and with it the expenses and the responsibility.

Chassidut teaches this is the whole point of creation: that holiness should live not in some faraway heaven, but down here - on a noisy Tel Aviv street, around a Shabbat table that's open to everyone.
